Some foot and ankle injuries stay painful after the first weeks of healing. The tendon, fascia, or joint lining is still inflamed, and the tissue has not finished repairing itself. Regenerative medicine uses the body’s own repair signals to support that process.
Clarix Flo is an in-office injection made from amniotic membrane and umbilical cord tissue, donated after a healthy birth. Those tissues carry proteins and growth factors that take part in normal healing.
The injection is placed into the sore tendon, fascia, or joint. The proteins help calm inflammation, soften stiff scar tissue, and bring the body’s own repair cells to the site so healing can continue.
It is considered for ankle joint pain, big-toe arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and tendon injuries, including the Achilles. The dose — 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg — is chosen after the exam, based on how large the area is and how much tissue is involved.
