Insurance plans in South Florida have caused most podiatry offices to see high volumes of patients per hour in order to succeed. That is why many offices triple-book patients at the same time — long wait times, frustrated people in the waiting room, and burned-out staff.

Over the last 10 years we have intentionally removed our office from many insurance plans so that we can focus on the patient and not on the clock. We have made it easier for patients who are on those plans, or who have no insurance, to keep seeing us by reducing prices and making them a flat fee.

By flat fee we mean this: when you come to our office, you will not be charged one fee for the exam, another for an X-ray, still another for an injection, a wrap, splinting, trimming, or even a minor procedure. It is all covered under one affordable rate. What can be more transparent than that?

At the Heath Foot & Leg Clinic, we spread all appointments at least 15 minutes apart for each doctor’s visit — and even more time for new patients or anyone who needs extra care. That means less of your precious time is spent in a waiting-room chair and more time with the doctor.

Our flat rate of $100 is collected before your visit, with no charges after. In addition, our board-certified surgeons have negotiated prices with hospitals and surgery centers for some of the lowest cash prices on foot or ankle surgeries. We have also partnered with outpatient centers and offices for some of the lowest rates on MRIs, CT scans, lab work, and even primary-care doctor visits.
