A custom orthotic starts with an exam and a capture of your foot. The $470 fee includes 1 pair of Heath Foot & Leg Clinic inserts.
They are used when the way the foot bears weight is part of the problem. Common reasons include plantar fasciitis, posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, metatarsalgia, flat feet, and pain from long hours of standing.
The exam shows whether a custom device is the right support, or whether an over-the-counter insert is enough for that foot.
