Heel pain & plantar fasciitis

Unhurried diagnosis, imaging when it actually changes the plan, and a treatment path that is not “come back in two weeks for a shot.”

Plantar fasciitis is the most common reason people limp into a podiatry office — and the most commonly rushed diagnosis. At Heath, new patients are given extra time so the exam is not a 7-minute glance.

Treatment starts with load management, stretching that is specific, and orthotic support when the foot’s mechanics are the driver. Injections and advanced options are used when they earn their place, not as a default.

If the story does not fit classic plantar fasciitis — nerve entrapment, stress fracture, insertional Achilles, or a bone spur that is actually the problem — we say so.
